Browsing through Digg today, i came across a link that led me to YouTube.com - a similar service to Google Video.
Like Google Video, it is a site that showcases user uploaded videos. And like Google Video, it also makes use
of an embedded flash based player and like Google Video (trend should be obvious by now) it also does not
inherently allow for video downloads.
Thats ok though. If you have the GreaseMonkey extension to Firefox, just right-click and install the
script (link to script somewhere below) and your YouTube view screens will then have a convenient
download link for the displayed video. Just remember to rename the file and to give it an .flv extension.
You can play the .flv files using a err.. flv player. You can get a free one from
